Regarding grille mould design, we have rich experience mold designers who are specialized in designing plastic automotive parts, especially grille mould. With the UG mold designer software, our designers seriously calculate the air input and air output to design the grille mold according each customer special requirements and UG software will help designer to easily make mold design and find problem so that it will improve the mold design quality and reasonability. In addition, we also could offer you a mold flow analysis. Take advantage of the high technical software, our grille mould was popular with reasonable mould design structure among customers.
Except optimal mold design, our company has many high tooling equipments, such as high performance milling center made in Italy Fidia, wire cut machine made in Japan Sodic, Hole drilling EDM made in Agiecharmilles, Bridge coordinate measuring machine and portable arm coordinate measuring machine made in Hexagon Metrology, Multifunction horizontal CNC deep hole drilling machine made in Worldwide industrial machinery company and so on. Besides, we have a complete grille mould project management system. Each mold project has a project manager who is following each processing and takes photos of mold status for customers. Before delivery, our project manager will arrange mold test and also take video for customer. Our company has special mold test department and many plastic injection machines from 50ton-1800ton. Customer also welcomes to watch the mold test in our company.
Normally, the material of plastic grille is PP+EPEM+T20, or PP+EPDM+T15, or EPDM+EPP. ABS material is also suitable but it’s more expensive than PP material. Grille plastic part sample our company made, the thickness normally is 2.5-3.5mm. If we use the Gas assisted injection molding, the thickness will become thinner. Moreover, if the bottom of bumper and grille connect, the thickness of grille should reach over 2.0 and the demoulding angle needs to increase. If the grille is separate, the thickness of grille hole should reach 1-1.5mm. Considering electroplating, the design should consider electroplate part structure.
